Half a star. Room for each other.
One clear shape: exactly half of a five-point star.
Our potential.
Completed together.
A simple five-point star, divided on its vertical axis. The open half suggests the potential we complete through connection and helping one another. This is our proposed story, not inherited symbolism or a claim to represent every community.
Shape first. Restrained color.
The identity works in black and white. A restrained clay accent sits on neutral backgrounds. We avoid a white star on sky blue and flag-like green, white and red stripes. A five-point star still has national and political associations; cutting it in half does not remove those associations.
A story to review together
The shape and its proposed meaning still need independent feedback across Somali communities, including northern, southern, coastal, inland, rural, urban, minority and diaspora perspectives. The half should feel like an invitation, never exclusion. Trademark and cultural review are not complete.
